LIP ENHANCEMENT Thunder Bay

Artfully created lips that will enhance your natural beauty

Whether you are seeking a subtle lip enhancement in Thunder Bay, correction of asymmetry, or well defined full lips, MediAesthetics can help you achieve the lips you desire without sacrificing your natural appearance.

Lip Enhancement when done skillfully should complement your other facial features by creating facial harmonization and balance. As one of our most requested procedures, MediAesthetics takes pride in creating beautiful natural looking lips that you can feel confident about.

How does Lip Enhancement Work?

Lip fillers are a non-invasive cosmetic treatment designed to enhance the volume and shape of your lips, providing a fuller and more youthful appearance. This straightforward procedure works by using safe and Health Canada-approved dermal fillers, typically made from hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the body.

How long will results last for?

The effects of lip fillers are not permanent, but they can last several months to a year, depending on the specific filler used and individual factors. Maintenance sessions can be scheduled to keep your desired look.

What should I expect with a Lip Enhancement treatment at MediAesthetics?

Before treatment, you will receive a complimentary consultation with one of our Medical Professionals who will address your concerns and create a customized treatment plan.  If you decide to have treatment completed our Medical Injector will apply a topical anesthetic to your lips to minimize any discomfort related to the injection. The filler is precisely injected into the targeted areas of your lips using a fine needle. Lip fillers are customizable, and the amount and placement can be adjusted to create a natural, beautiful enhancement tailored to your preferences. Mild swelling, redness and possible bruising are common but generally improve within 2-3 days, and in some individuals up to a week.

Is the treatment painful?

Pain is very individualized and dependent to one’s tolerance to pain.  Prior to treatment a topical anesthetic cream is applied, which takes about 20-30 minutes to take effect.  In addition, the product used also contains Lidocaine which provides additional numbing following injection.
