What should I expect with a Lip Enhancement treatment at MediAesthetics?

If you decide to have treatment completed our Medical Injector will apply a topical anesthetic to your lips to minimize any discomfort related to the injection. The filler is precisely injected into the targeted areas of your lips using a fine needle. Mild swelling, redness and possible bruising are common but generally improve within 2-3 days, and in some individuals up to a week.
Is the treatment painful?
Pain is very individualized and dependent to one’s tolerance to pain. Prior to treatment a topical anesthetic cream is applied, which takes about 20-30 minutes to take effect. In addition, the product used also contains Lidocaine which provides additional numbing following injection.
